Site Information:
Design For The Children recognizes that there are many different cultural and environmental conditions that exist throughout East Africa; Rwanda, Uganda, Kenya, and Tanzania. Entries for Design For The Children could also respond to any of a number of different issues that impact the development of pediatric clinics in these countries. Some of these issues that we recognize are the ability to provide reliable renewable energy, clean drinking water, an adaptable model for reuse throughout the region, flexibility in the model for growth or new health concerns, and solutions to a particular culture or environmental condition. Design For The Children is looking for solutions that address one or any combination of these issues or any other issue that you identify effecting the development of these clinics.

Fight For The Children is continuing to work with many different organizations throughout all of East Africa to acquire sites for future clinics. Design For The Children has received site information for one available site outside Kibungo, Rwanda but we do not wish for all entries to be confined to this site. You are welcome to use the site information provided, but you are also free to develop your own site plan with the environmental and cultural conditions consistent with that location.
