Design for the Children Update:
The top 20 entries will be on display at Westminster College in Fulton, Missouri, USA, as part of a Symposium on Global Health running September 22-23, 2009. Two of the judges for this competition, along with a humanitarian worker who served in Rwanda, will present the top 20 entries in the Coulter Atrium and discuss the cultural and environmentally sustainable criteria that went into the selection of the top three designs.

Rose Nanyonga-Clarke - Board Member: Board of Directors International Medical Group and Doctoral Student at Yale University;

Design for the Children Update: Winners will be announced Saturday, May 2, at Seattle's "Bubbles & Sweets" fundraiser, hosted by Humanity for Children. Results will be posted to the web site on the same day. To purchase tickets, donate, or view more about the event, please visit Bubbles & Sweets.

Design for the Children Update: We want to thank everyone who entered the competition; we are extremely excited about the quality of entries we received. Currently we are in the preliminary stages of the jury process; we are narrowing down the entries, which is no easy task. We thank you for your patience. We plan on narrowing down our entries to the finalists in early May.
In the meantime, we have posted our jury information.
